DUTCH PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB

Founded in 1967, Alkmaar Zaanstreek, known as AZ Alkmaar or AZ, is a Dutch professional football club from Alkmaar and the Zaanstreek. The club plays in the Eredivisie, the highest professional football league in the Netherlands, and hosts home matches at the AFAS Stadion.

PRIORITIZING TRAINING & CONDITIONING

Investing in a new training complex that opened in 2016 in Zanstaad, AZ Alkmaar selected Torque Fitness to provide versatile, high-performance strength training equipment in order to enhance its professional conditioning regimens and execution on the field.

FUNCTIONAL & OLYMPIC LIFTING

This custom X-RACK was designed to work around an existing pillar in the training room while still providing 6 lifting stations. Ground Rotational Trainers, Dip Attachments and Double Plays add to the valuable functionality and storage capabilities of this rack.

Equipping Excellence

Among the many features on the 6' X 6" Custom X-RACK are 4' and 6' Triple Crosses, Dip/Step Attachments, Ground Rotational Trainers (Landmines), Double Plays (Bar Storage and Battle Rope Anchor), Flat-Incline Olympic Benches and Weight Storage Uprights.

AFAS Training Centre

Located near Amsterdam, the AZ Alkmaar training complex is home to the first squad and 9 youth academy teams. It includes a full-size indoor field, the gym, an outdoor performance playground, a restaurant, locker rooms, treatment rooms and offices.
