Commercial Credit Accounting Specialist

Company Overview: Torque Fitness is an innovative and growing manufacturer of high-end functional and performance training equipment. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Credit Specialist/Accounts Receivable:

  • Preform credit analysis by evaluating new and current customers.
  • Evaluate and recommend extension of credit for customers following company guidelines
  • Monitor AR aging and follow up on past‑due accounts.
  • Perform collections activities, including customer outreach, payment negotiations, and maintaining documentation
  • Identify potential risk trends in customer payment patterns and recommend adjustments to reduce defaults.
  • Act as a liaison between sales staff and customers to provide clear credit decisions while maintaining professional relationships.
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer invoices and payments.
  • Generate invoices according to company practices and submit them to customers.
  • Apply customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Research and process customer refunds and credit memos.
  • Monitor and maintain open Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
  • Maintain accurate customer account information and documentation.
  • Assist with reviewing and maintaining sales tax exemption certificates.


General Accounting & Administrative Support:

  • Reconcile AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger.
  • Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Prepare reports as needed (AR aging, AP aging, credit card activity, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation.
  • Write and maintain procedures and work instructions for accounting processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Enter approved vendor bills into the accounting system with proper coding.
  • Maintain accurate vendor account information and files.
  • Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices when applicable.
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH/EFT).
  • Support 1099 reporting and ensure vendor W‑9 forms are current.
  • Maintain installation company accounts and insurance certificates.
  • Process and reconcile company credit card transactions.

General Accounting & Administrative Support

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering).
  • International credit experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Inside Sales Support Representative

Come join our fast-paced growing sales team and be a part of an expanding category within the fitness industry. This entry level sales role will gain valuable experience by supporting Torque’s Outside Sales Representatives and enhancing the overall customer experience from start to finish with new and existing relationships within our customer database. This person will help engage with customers by creating product quotes, process sales orders, and handling delivery management. 

Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, this role’s performance will be measured by their ability to become an expert in our product lines, quality and timeliness of sales proposals, and their ability to engage and interact with customers. 

Working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and above average computer skills is preferred, but not mandatory. 

Specific Role Responsibility: 

  • Supply support to assigned Outside Sales Team member(s). 
  • Actively contribute and take part in sales meetings and company goals and objectives. 
  • Assist in project layouts in 3D software and aid X-Team Design. 
  • Manage the sales process for new and assigned accounts until turned over to Outside Sales. 
  • Log all activity into the company’s customer relationship management system. Including, but not limited to leads, quotes, orders, and returns. 
  • Consistently manage quotes and orders in company CRM. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Candidate Background Requirements: 

  • Strong people skills are needed as this position works closely with peer inside team, outside sales, VP of Sales and Torque Fitness customer base. 
  • Development and maintenance of business relationships is key to success in this role. 
  • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written. 
  • Attention to detail and strong customer service skills no matter the size of the task. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with peers as well as executive level management.

Location: Coon Rapids MN in office only. 

Hours per week: Fulltime (Monday-Friday) 

Type of Pay: Hourly 

Wage: Starting Range 18-22$/Hr. 

PTO; 3 weeks (15 Days) PTO yearly with 40 hr. rollover

Process Engineer - Warehouse Operations
  • Location: Coon Rapids, MN

    Type: Full-time

    Reports to: VP of Operations

    Salary Range: $75,000–$115,000/year, based on experience.

    About the Role:
    The Process Engineer will design, optimize, and implement processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity in warehouse operations. The role involves analyzing warehouse layouts and workflows, integrating automation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warehouse processes (e.g., picking, packing, inventory management) using data-driven methods to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. 
  • Design and implement process improvements, reducing cycle times and costs while maintaining quality. 
  • Identify, develop and integrate automation solutions to optimize throughput.
  • Conduct time studies and simulations to model workflow scenarios and validate warehouse layout and process changes. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and quality standards (e.g., ISO).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, IT, and management, to align processes with business goals.
  • Monitor KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, fulfillment speed) and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Document processes and train staff on new systems or procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g. Lean Six Sigma methodologies).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data visualization (e.g., Python, Excel, or Tableau).
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar is a plus.

Role Description
The Warranty Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of Quality and Service and is critical to Torque Fitness. This role is responsible for managing the entire labor warranty claim process, from initial customer contact to final resolution.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a keen attention to detail. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and service technicians, ensuring timely and effective resolution of warranty claims while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for incoming warranty labor claims from customers, service technicians, or other channels.
  • Determine in-warranty and out-of-warranty situations. Escalations are to be reported to the Manager of Quality and Service to ensure desired service levels. 
  • Gather and review all necessary documentation for each claim, including photos/video, service reports, and proof of purchase.
  • Maintain service orders in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system—enter and acknowledge new service orders. Process and communicate order changes.
  • Track the status of all open claims and follow up with service companies to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records in ERP.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to customers on the status of their claims.
  • Communicate with service technicians to schedule appointments, dispatch parts, and ensure proper repair procedures are followed.
  • Identify trends in warranty claims and report findings to management.
  • All other duties as assigned.



Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year or more of customer service or sales experience.
  • Experience with warranty claims processing is highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to foster relationships.

Physical Requirements
